Our efforts reduced the construction time of an already aggressive construction schedule. Modeling included all underground and overhead pathways, light fixtures and support in addition to lightning protection system, under-floor distribution and emergency and paralleling gear. Our BIM modeling started before the construction drawings were completed.
Our design-assist efforts resulted in the elimination of unnecessary electrical equipment, fixture list revisions and workspace reorganization which resulted in significant cost savings to the owner. MMC was engaged during the conceptual design phase of this6-story hotel/spa/casino facility to perform document reviews and provide value engineering services in advance of the installation of the electrical systems.
